Kedarnath is a town in Rudraprayag District in the State of Uttarakhand in India and has gained importance because of the Kedarnath Temple. It is approximately 86 kilometres from Rudraprayag, the district headquarter. It is a Nagar panchayat in the Rudraprayag district. Kedarnath is the most remote of the four Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. It is located in the Himalayas, about 3,583 m (11,755 ft) above sea level near the Chorabari Glacier, which is the source of the Mandakini river. The town is flanked by snow-capped peaks, most prominently the Kedarnath Mountain. The nearest road head is at Gaurikund about 16 km away. The town suffered extensive destruction during June 2013 from the Flash Floods caused by torrential rains in Uttarakhand state.

Delhi - Haridwar

Morning meet our representative at your Hotel / Airport / Railway Station. After some basic information start your journey to Haridwar. Check in to hotel. Evening visit Har Ki Pauri and Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay at Haridwar.


  • Witness the site of confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers at Devprayag;

  • As you reach Chopta, check-in to the camps/hotel, freshen up & treat yourselves to a filling lunch;

  • Enjoy the rest of the day as you will – explore, relax, take a leisurely break and rejuvenate;

  • End the day with a piping hot meal alongside a bonfire and stay the night at the camps/hotel.


  • Wake up early in the morning have a sumptuous breakfast at the campsite/hotel and get ready to start the trek to Chandrashila.

  • En route, we’ll stop by at the Tungnath temple – immerse yourself in devotion and bow before the mighty Lord Shiva.

  • After scaling the peak of the Chandrashila mountain and spending a few unforgettable moments trek down from Chandrashila and arrive at the campsite/hotel by evening.

  • Eat well, for you’ll be tired and drained out and hit the bed for a cozy sleep–in.
